COL4A3 Recombinant Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

"Six α chain of Type IV collagen can aggregate into 3 triple helix molecular structure, which called monomer, monomer polymerization to form a dimer or tetramer, which can twist each other to form a collagen network structure. Mutations in the X-linked dominant Alport comprehensive acquisition gene mainly occurred in the gene encoding collagen type IV ɑ5 chain (COL4A5). Mutations in the autosomal recessive Alport syndrome occur on chromosome 2 in genes encoding collagen type IV ɑ3 or ɑ4 strands (COL4A3/COL4A4) .
COL4A3 is mainly expressed in podocytes in Bowman's capsule of glomeruli."
